DRAWINGS
I still tell people I don't know how to draw. Fundamentally, I guess I know how to draw after taking many classes both in high school and college. But I still don't really know what I LIKEÂ to draw. I don't draw for fun normally, but I still do occasionally. Recently, I have really enjoyed working with pastels.
HUMMINGBIRD
October, 2018
This is a very special drawing, It was given as a gift to someone I love very much. Not only did she love my work, but was one of my greatest supporters. She loved hummingbirds, and I knew this would be a perfect Birthday gift.

CHALK THE BLOCK CONTEST
July, 2018
I entered a sidewalk drawing contest for a new challenge. I prepared a drawing ahead of time, and then used that to base my drawing for the contest off of. I ended up getting second place which was pretty cool!

FIGURE WITH SKELETON
Spring, 2018
This was done towards the end of the semester, where I was starting to get the hang of figure drawing. Still petrified of backgrounds though, as you can see.

HUMAN FIGURE STUDIES
Spring, 2018
These were some of my figure drawings from Drawing II.

SKELETON STUDY 3
Spring, 2018
Alright, out of all the skeletons I drew in those long 4 weeks, this is my favorite. Did I draw it in the studio closely studying the skeleton? Nope. This was supposed to be a study I did at home during the Superbowl, but I came out pretty good.

SKELETON STUDY 2
January 10, 2025
First day working with charcoal. Success? Well, I liked it. It only got harder from here anyway.

SKELETON STUDY
Spring, 2018
This was one of my very first skeleton studies in my Drawing II class. I was absolutely terrified of this class from start to finish. I had never drawn the human body or skeleton before, but if anything, I surprised myself.

DRAWING I FINAL

Created to give the feeling of chaos and disorganization. (like my artistic process)

STILL LIFE WITH FRUIT
Fall, 2017
This was created after Midnight the day before it was due. Sill came out pretty decent.

SUBTRACTIVE STILL LIFE

This was created with compressed charcoal that once covered the entire sheet of paper. An eraser was used to pull out areas of light.

DRAPERY STUDY
